Pricing model
Every API call has a simple cost:
total = owner price + 5% commission
| Component | Set by | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Owner price | API owner | The price per call set by the API owner |
| 5% commission | Opsalis | Automatically calculated on the owner price |
Plus a small transaction fee (typically less than a fraction of a cent).
Example breakdown
| Component | Amount |
|---|---|
| Owner price | $0.010 |
| 5% commission | $0.0005 |
| Total consumer pays | $0.0105 |
Setting your price (owners)
When you register your API, you set the price per call in USDC. This is visible to consumers in the catalog. You can update your price at any time from the web console.
The 5% commission
Opsalis takes a 5% commission on the owner's price. Examples:
- Owner sets $0.10 → commission is $0.005 → owner receives $0.095
- Owner sets $0.01 → commission is $0.0005 → owner receives $0.0095
No hidden fees. What you see in the catalog is what you pay. Owner price + 5% commission + small transaction fee. Nothing else.
No subscriptions
There are no plans, tiers, or monthly commitments. You pay exactly for what you use, one call at a time.
